I always wanted to have garden at our home, but due to a small area, I don’t know what to put in my garden. I wanted something that would maximize the little space I have. My lawn was so small that if a put a flower bed, I might damage it while trimming the weeds or with a mower. I don’t know how will I put flower beds on such a small garden space.

A friend suggested that I put garden edging and define a border within my yard, aside from giving my small garden a finished look and a clean edge, having garden edging was also very practical since it separated my lawn from my flower beds, and it also directs my grass trimmer away from my flower beds. Aside from garden edging, my friend also said I could try putting up raised garden beds. Having raised garden beds are great for small plots of flowers; they also keep my lawn from my flower beds, prevents soil compaction, provide good drainage, and also serves as barrier from slugs and snails. It doesn’t matter whether you have a small or huge garden space; all you need to do is maximize the space you have.
