Summer is here and hot days are coming. This is worse in the cities where there are a minimum of trees growing. Trees and greenery has already been documented to reduce the temperature of the surrounding area by 3 to 5 degree centigrade which is separate from the shading effect can be felt in other structures. Evaporation takes a lot of energy to occur and that energy is taken from the outside air, cooling it noticeably.
Thus, planting a tree or leafy bush in the yard can really help in the summer heat. Also, planting a fruit tree, like apple, is much better than any other tree simply because of the fruits. Thus, this is Urban Farming in a small but noticeable way. Also, trees reduce air pollution by absorbing the carbon dioxide in the air and transform into growth or fruits.
