High Risk, High Pay
Placing money in bank is a form of investment. The bank takes your money and invests it in loans or in the stock market and they promise a fixed interest rate. This is a safe form of investments because the rate of interest is assured regardless of what actually happens to the money. Thus, these investments have a low interest rate. Stock markets like Share Market India, on the other hand, are volatile markets with many high and lows. There are more opportunities to earn good money but the chance of losing money is also high. Thus, Stock Trading, can be a good paying but high risk activity.
Handling stocks can be time and attention intensive. Most people are more interested in the monetary gains than in the actual stock trading. Thus, these people invest in Mutual Funds. These funds also deal in stocks but most transactions are transparent to the investor. All they see are the results of the trading in loss or gain of their investments.
