A gift for my daughter

My daughter will be turning eighteen this Saturday, and after making the final preparations and arrangements for her debut party, I could finally relax and think of a present I could give her. Being my only daughter, she was a bit spoiled when it comes to material things, like clothes, shoes, gadgets, accessories and such. My husband and I always wanted the best for her, just as long as keeps her side of the bargain, like doing chores and having high grades at school, whatever she wanted, she’ll get.
On her special day, we were of thinking of giving her something she would definitely love, and at the same time something she could use every day. Her previous birthday, we went to the mall, treated her favorite restaurant and bought her two pairs of jeans and a denim jacket at True Religion jeans, and also matching shirts at Abercrombie and Fitch. Both brands were her favorite, she liked the quality, the timeless and cool designs and styles of their products. Aside from being popular brands for all ages the fittings were great. We also bought her accessories to perk up her outfits. As the saying goes, a great outfit needs the perfect accessories. After reminiscing her birthday last year, we had an idea, at that time we couldn’t afford to buy her the last item on her list, and now we could. At the day of her 18th birthday, she was so happy when she opened our present, a pair of Gucci shoes. The Gucci shoes were the perfect gift for our daughter.

Technology is really improving each day and when we talk about technology, we can’t exclude the gadgets that are released by companies like iPods. These gadgets are really becoming a trend to everybody that should have. To buy an iPod touch cell phone is what my girlfriend gave me as a task because she wants to buy an iPod online.

I love shopping and it has been a part of my life. But due to my very hectic schedules at work, I was not able to go on shopping this past few weeks. I felt so sad because I feel that I am no longer updated of the latest trends in gadgets and fashion. A friend of mine noticed it and ask what is my problem. The Epson D92 use four individual printer cartridges which are more economical than the old tri block cartridges which means you can change each cartridge individual and no ink gets wasted. Epson D92 ink cartridges are still not cheap however, when you compare than to the cost of the printer itself they cost about the same price for a full set. There are compatible printer cartridges available for the D92 and they do just as good a job as the originals but at a faction of the cost. Taking the D92 out of the box the first impression is very good and surprise because the built quality of the machine is very good and far from what we have come to expect from energy level inkjet printers. It compact too and looks good sitting to the side of a TFT screen. Installing the printer to a PC is easy and only involves plugging in two cables installing the ink cartridges and driver software. It starts to go downhill little when you first switch the printer on because it reveals itself to be very noisy. The print quality is excellent and it can print of a wide variety of paper media including photo paper, envelope and standard office paper of course. The high print quality come at a price however, the D92 is every slow at printing in fact its one of the slowest inkjet printer I have ever seen. At first I thought it was faulty because Epson claim that its capable of 25 pages per minute buy after reading some other reviews from other people who have bought the D92 the 3 pages per minute I was getting out of it is normal. This is a real disappointment because the D92 could have been a great little printer instead its just too slow for almost anybody’s needs.

Planting has always been the passion of my grandmother since my grandfather died a couple of years ago. She was so hooked on her plants because every time her flowering plant bear flowers, her garden becomes a paradise of flowers.
