It’s been five years since my dad had started working overseas, and this year he will be coming home and spend three weeks with us.  We were so excited, that a week before his scheduled arrival, we had the house cleaned, and prepared a small welcome home party for him, we invited close family and friends.

During weekends, my nephews and I would spend hours at the park or at the backyard, launching rockets, racing with remote control trucks, or playing with monster trucks.

I am married for almost two years now. Our prayers has been answered, I am now on my three months of pregnancy. My husband and I are very excited; make lists for the need of our upcoming baby. Our parents guided us, which things should be on the list for our Baby Clothes, and other needs of babies like baby booties and Baby Snowsuit. My mother advises me to surf the net and go for an online one-stop shop for all my baby’s needs.

After finding one store that can provide us for our baby’s need, with all the safe and durable accessories, we decided that all the stuffs for our baby will be ordered to the store provider, to consider the sales agent who assisted and provided us for all our needs. We were moving into a new house since my dad was reassigned at a new area.  He was promoted to manager and after a few months of managerial training, he was a given a newly opened branch to handle.  We were all excited for him, and sad at the same time since, we were leaving all our friends here.

This was our first time to move, and since we wanted a  fresh start at a new place, we decided  to sell most of old furniture sets and appliances.  The money we got from our garage sale will  be used to buy new furniture sets and appliances at our new house.  However, instead of having custom made cabinets, what my dad did was bought RTA cabinets.  And for some of our furniture, he also bought RTA furniture.   My dad was able to buy a lot of things for the new house from the money we got from our garage sale.  RTA cabinets and RTA furniture were definitely cheaper that custom made ones, since we did not have to pay any delivery cost or labor.  We never thought that you can still save thousands of dollars even if you’re moving into a new house.
