My brothers can’t wait for the weekend, because this weekend our dad will be taking them to watch an NFL game live.   My dad already made ticket reservations.  And on the day of the big game, they both woke up early and never stopped talking about their favorite NFL teams.  After having a heavy breakfast, they headed towards the field, they wanted to be there early to make sure they get the best parking space.

Though the game ended about hours ago, they arrived so late at night, my dad said that the traffic was so bad, they were hardly  moving, and my brothers was so tired that they were asleep the whole trip back home.  When I looked inside the car, both of them were asleep at the back, their Adidas shoes were scattered on the floor, and they even bought cheap NFL jerseys as souvenirs.  I carried one sleeping kid to his bed and my dad carried the other one.  After making sure both kids were tucked in their beds, it was only then my father noticed his Louis Vuitton watch was missing.  He got really upset, but realizing there was nothing he could do about it, he went to bed.  But when morning came, my dad had a big grin on his face, his Louis Vuitton watch was at the dresser, mom found in the car.  That’s what you get from watching NFL live, tired brothers and  a forgetful dad.

My daughter will be turning eighteen this Saturday, and after making the final preparations and arrangements for her debut party, I could finally relax and think  of a present I could give her.  Being my only daughter, she was a bit spoiled when it comes to material things, like clothes, shoes, gadgets, accessories and such.  My husband and I always wanted the best for her, just  as long as keeps her side of the bargain, like doing chores and having high grades at school, whatever she wanted, she’ll get.

On her special day, we were of thinking of giving her something she would definitely love, and at the same time something she could use every day.  Her previous birthday, we went to the mall, treated her favorite restaurant and bought her two pairs of jeans and a denim jacket at True Religion jeans, and also matching shirts at Abercrombie and Fitch.  Both brands were her favorite, she liked the quality,  the timeless  and cool designs and styles of  their products.  Aside from being popular brands for all ages the  fittings were great.  We also bought her accessories to perk up her outfits.  As the saying goes, a great outfit needs the perfect accessories. After reminiscing her birthday last year, we had an idea, at that time we couldn’t afford to buy her the last item on her list, and now we could.  At the day of her 18th birthday, she was so happy when she opened our present,  a pair of Gucci shoes.  The Gucci shoes were the perfect gift for our daughter.
