Adult Skin Differs

Acne is not age based, although it is prevalent in adolescents due to hormonal imbalances at puberty. Adults are also plagued by acne due to numerous causes. Taking adult acne treatment is similar to any acne treatment since the symptoms and causes are similar. However, adult skin may be less sensitive than adolescent skin in general, and therefore can withstand more potent treatments for faster results.
