My Special Gifts

I remember, as a child, I always got shawls with matching hair wear that later found out was made from balls of fingering weight yarn.  My father’s sisters were never seen without a knitting needle sets, crochet hooks and assorted balls of  discount yarn, I now presume, that came in a variety of colors and in different materials.  Most of the time, I saw my aunts chatting away while their hands went to and fro.  We, the children, never saw the end product until after reaping the wrappings of a gift package which was either under the tree, tucked inside a big sock hanging by the door or on a table top with all the other birthday gifts.  Of course, they did other things using other kinds of material which was either the bulky, hunky and the worsted type depending on what it was for and who the recipient was.

My children are all grown up and have their own families. I did not break the tradition, I do the same thing these days now that I have so much time. I enjoyed receiving my special gifts because I believe they were made for no other child but me. I am very sure my grand children will enjoy receiving them too and the memory of seeing me chattering away while hands flew back and forth will fill them with awe too.

Preventing liabilities

As more and more people are in need of jobs, you may find your company’s list of applicants to be long, and the problem now is doing a Background Check For Employment on each of them.   It is a fact that we just can’t hire anyone without knowing a few details about his or her past.  The best way of looking into a person’s futures entails looking at his past, although not always true, it helps companies to hire only qualified applicants.

A Background Screening is a crucial factor that lessens the possibility of a company hiring an applicant with backgrounds such as drug usage and criminal record, these two records can expose your company, you and your other personnel you to liability and even harm. As part of an applicant’s Background Screening involves an Employee Drug Testing, this is a sure way to check whether an applicant is taking illegal drugs or not, drug abusers are less productive in a workplace, and most of the time will get sick, and more importantly, drug abusers pose a potential  threat in and outside of the workplace. Although companies are in need of employees, it is best that we screen applicants before hiring them, reckless hiring can cause liabilities that you never imagined.

Keeping track

Starting up a business is far different from sustaining it, making it survive the test of time, adapting to the ever changing needs of customers and your business as well.  One popular and widely implemented strategy for the management and nurture of customer interactions and sales prospects of business is with CRM software.  A CRM or Customer relationship management’s main goal is to find, attract and win new customers and at the same time to maintain existing customers satisfied.

This is one of the many products of technology that is essential in business enterprises, enabling them to organize, automate, and synchronize business processes. And when we say business processes, this involves a wide range of sales related activities, including marketing, providing efficient customer service and technical support. However keeping track of all these business processes can really be difficult for businessmen and entrepreneurs who are always out of the office, thanks to a Web based CRM, they can now do just that with only using their smartphones.  So, if want to make your business more than just survive, I highly suggest that you install a Web based CRM Software, and keep track of your company’s business processes.
